Water & Wastewater Operator Announcement
After many meeting, negotiations, and review of various operators, the BPW has chosen a new operator to replace O&M Enterprises. See attached announcement.
The Holden City Council was invited to ask questions and meet with the new operator multiple times over the last few months. Additionally, members of the Board of Public Works and Holden City Council had several meetings to go over the terms of the contract to make sure that the City Council understood the agreement prior to the vote last night.
During the monthly City Council meeting, the council unanimously voted to approve the contract. We thank the BPW for their hard work and their willingness to discuss the terms with City Council.
Congratulations to the BPW and best wishes to Tony Lerda upon his retirement.
